Overwhelmed and a Poll

Greetings loyal readers. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I have not forgotten about you. On the contrary, blogging (and my lack of blogging) is on my mind just about every moment of the day. The problem is that my to-do list has grown to epic proportions (i.e. I have 9 photo shoots to process) and blogging has fallen by the wayside. I know it’s important, though, and I certainly don’t want to lose the (admittedly meager) momentum I had going in the blogosphere. I do believe a blogging plan of action is in order and I could use your help. What should I blog next? Babies? Couples? Boudoir? Dogs? (Wow, is that a random assortment, or what?!) Please leave a comment and let me know what you’d like to see next. (And, don’t be embarrassed to say boudoir. Just think of it as art.)

And because no blog post would be complete without a photo, here is one I took of our friends’ boys: Luke, William, and Miles. There are many more photos that go with this series (and that I will blog eventually), but I’m particularly fond of this one. I like baby feet, what can I say?

Boudoirlicious – Austin Boudoir Photography

If you had asked me six months ago if I wanted to be a boudoir photographer, I would have politely said “umm, NO!”  However, I have a policy of trying everything at least once (most of the time, this rule is applied to food), so I decided to give it a shot.  Thank goodness I did, because it is now my favorite type of photography!  It’s so much fun to chat and laugh our way through a session and I love that I can play a part in making a woman feel gorgeous and confident.  (Maybe this is why I also love doing my friends’ hair and makeup as if we were 13 year-olds at a slumber party.)

Meet the lovely, smart, and hilarious, S:

Dear S:  You are beautiful and your husband is going to LOVE his album!  Thanks so much for letting me share your photos.

xoxo,
Adrienne
